Well… I think it’s finally time to let the music out. 😜♡ I've now written well over 100 original songs, built 10 album projects, and somehow already given myself enough ideas and plans for roughly the next five years. 😂
So the question isn't really “What should I create?” anymore. It's: How do I finally release everything I've created?
I'm Kinga Sęktas — songwriter, singer and recording artist. My music doesn't really live in one box. My heart is mostly in hard alternative rock, but I write from the feeling first and let the song decide what it wants to become.
That can mean rock or metal one day. Dance, house, techno or electronic music the next. Something soft. Something strange. Something funny. Something deeply personal. Or apparently an entire relaxation project. 😂
They're different sounds because they're different pieces of my life, my experiences and me.

But although I'm only beginning to release my music now, this story didn't begin now. It actually started when I was about five years old.
I was already singing and making songs in my head. I just somehow knew: I want to sing. I want to write songs.
Writing stayed with me as I grew up. By high school I was writing poems, stories and articles, and I became editor-in-chief of my high-school newspaper. I simply loved writing. Putting something that existed inside my head into words felt natural to me.
Music was still there too. But life happened. I never really had the chance to properly develop that childhood dream, and for many years it remained somewhere in the background.
Until one day I asked myself a very simple question: What do I actually still want from this life? What am I missing? What would I regret if my life eventually ended and I had never even tried?
And annoyingly 😂, the answer had been following me around since I was five. Music.
I wanted to write songs. I wanted to sing.
And suddenly I became angry. Angry at circumstances. Angry at everything that had stood between me and that dream.
But that anger did something useful. It pushed me.
Do something. Stop leaving the dream somewhere in the future. Give yourself the chance you never had.
Because I realised that if my life ended one day without me ever trying, that would be my one big regret.
So I started. And apparently once I finally opened that door, my brain had been waiting behind it for a very long time. 😂
One song became another. And another. And another.
Until somehow I was sitting here with 100+ songs, 10 album projects and a five-year plan.

Now comes the next chapter: Actually releasing them.
I'll be starting with individual singles, one by one, while also working on several bigger and smaller projects.
And naturally, after explaining that my musical heart lives mostly in hard alternative rock, my first digital project is... relaxation music. 😂
Because apparently doing things in the obvious order was never going to be my style.
I don't know exactly where all of this will take me. But I do know something important.
That one regret I was frightened of carrying? I don't have it anymore.
I finally followed the dream. I finally gave that five-year-old girl her chance. Now I want to see where she takes me. ♡
Stay perfectly imperfect.
Keep your heart loud. ♡
